After having this in the fridge for about two weeks, you can tell a major difference in the quality of the fridge smell. It does eliminate order really well. And I like the fact that it’s so small that you can shove it in the back of the fridge and not even tell that it’s there.

This refrigerator deodorizer is easy to use, just remove the divider and then shake it so that the yellow and white granules mix up and it gets activated. Now just pop it in the refrigerator and you are good to go. I was getting a strong onion smell from the fridge before putting the deodorizer in, and in one day I could see the difference, there was no smell from my fridge. It’s been about 2 weeks since I have been using this and no more smelly fridge. They say that it will last up to 2 years, which is kind of cool if it really does. It is very small, so doesn’t take up too much space in the fridge. I would call it as an odor eliminator instead of a deodorizer, since it doesn’t have any fragrance to it, but it removes and neutralizes the odor. The gaps on it are kind of big because of which a couple of beads fell out while trying to shake it. That’s the reason I didn’t hang it and just put it on a shelf for the fear of beads falling into the food by accident. May be reduce the gaps on the outer plastic frame to avoid this, 4.5âï¸. Overall worth it.

I have been using for a few weeks and it does appear to be working. The refrigerator used to have heavier smells from the food, it does seem to have a cleaner smell to it. It doesn't have an aroma, it just more closer to an empty fridge than one with food in it. If you throw heavy smelling food in an uncovered dish in there, it probably won't do much for that. But it seems to help with to go packaging that is covered. I recommend and I'll probably purchase again in 18 months.

This sleek little deodorizer does exactly what it promises. Installation is simple - either place it on a shelf or use the included double-sided tape. Activation requires just pulling out the center divider and giving it a shake.Performance-wise, it's impressive - my fridge now has zero odor. Full disclosure: I didn't start with major odor issues, so can't speak to its powers against stronger smells. The promised year-long lifespan is appealing, but here's where things get iffy on value. Two boxes of baking soda will do six months each at roughly a third of the price. EXCEPT if your fridge got very stinky and the baking soda could not do the trick-- this little guy probably would.What you're paying for is convenience and aesthetics. It's undeniably cute and more visually appealing than an open box of baking soda. There's also something nice about not having to remember to change it every six months.Is it worth the premium? If you appreciate design, want something that looks intentional in your fridge or need a very strong deoderizing agent, then yes.

The packaging says that this guy should last about a year, a better lifespan than a traditional baking soda deodorizer; however, a traditional baking soda box is pretty inexpensive. The convenience of having to replace it every year is nice. To activate the beads inside, you need to pull the divider out and mix the two colors. This was pretty easy to do, don’t overthink it. I was hoping I would be able to stick it to the bottom of a shelf, so it would not take up space, but the sticker did not hold. Been using it for about a month now and it is working as expected.

We ordered the Hilarily refrigerator deodorizer to take the place of a box of baking soda we normally use. We have olfactory sensitivities and really appreciate a neutral odor profile in the fridge.Since installation, we have not noticed any new odors, so this unit is working at least as well as the baking soda when it was fresh.The long lifespan is appealing and certainly the unit will not spill in the fridge as a box of baking soda easily did. It is simple to install and it can either sit on the shelf or we can use the double-sided tape to adhere to a surface in an out-of-the-way area.If this unit should last a full year or more, it will be cost effective.
