I got this to put 1/8 inch bits into my router that only takes 1/4 inch bits. I wasn't expecting it to be perfect but I threw on a 1/4 inch shaft with a 1/16 cutting bit and it was perfect these are definitely worth the money!

It allowed me use the existing 1/4 collet and nut on my dewalt cut out tool to fit a 1/8†bit. Slid right in.

Bought these to replace a 1/4 to 1/8 collet for a trim router I had been using for years. The old collet had a single slit down the side. These are much better, with 3 slits for even pressure distribution. Appears to be very well made, and provided a very stable platform for high speed routing.
