I recently acquired a Fender Squier bass guitar that had seen better days. I went online looking for suggestions to bring it back to life and found a site that suggested "Scotchbrite" style cleaning pads and naphtha. I got the Shawya scuff pads and am very pleased with the results. Highly reccomended.

This is a really good assortment, and the product is well made. It holds together during use. I use mainly during woodturning in woodwork and sometimes metal. With that said, the manufacturer has the grit rating ALL wrong on their Amazon advertisement. Gold is the most coarse at approximately 150 grit. Then maroon at approximately 350 grit. Then gray approximately 600 grit, purple at approximately 900 grit and white at 1200ish grit. I based this on usage and texture.I thought I should mention this because someone could really mess up a project thinking they were finishing with fine grit but instead moving to the coarse grit.😞

This is nice little assortment of various grit scrub pads. I've used it to clean up some metal with rust and loose paint so I can repaint it. I would have appreciated a card in the pack listing the grits of the different colors, but I just printed out the picture with that info from the ad to keep in the plastic bag.
