I used these to make custom coasters with etching cream. The etching cream seeped under the stencil a little bit because the surface is natural and uneven. Overall, it looked good. I like that they come with foam "feet", and that you don't have to add your own. The quality seems pretty good. They are a little thinner than I was expecting, and kind of left little flakes of slate. So far, a good value. It was easy to wash the etching cream off, I imagine cleaning off drips from a glass would be easy as well. They are 4", and seem like a good size to pair with a glass.

These were got to laser engrave logos and images onto. They worked wonderfully for this. Large enough to easily put a legible logo onto and hold a drink. The feet on the bottom are great that they dont slip on the table.Easily recommend for normal use or laser engraving blanks.

These stone coasters are really nice, thick, and durable. The slate is natural and really cool. They are somewhat absorbent since they are stone. They are really nice for any setting in your home, but we like them for our home bar. They are a great coaster and I would get them again.

I laser engrave coasters and these have been the worst ones i have received from ordering on amazon. Their rough, uneven and big chunks missing from sides.

These black slate coasters are a great things for laser engraving or to design your own DIY. Each of the coaster is about 4inches diameter and have a lot of space to play around with a beautiful engraving designs.Usually, I prepare the coasters with 600grit sandpaper very lightly, clean all the dust and apply a clear lacuqer spray on them. Once they are dry, they are loaded to my engraving machine with my own design which can give you a perfect result everytime.There are 8 coasters in the set and 4 of them packed in each pack. They are great for office desk, personalized gifts or to use them at a family gathering.The coasters also have a felt pads at the bottom to protect from sliding and to avoid scratches. But, they are slightly expensive when compared in buying 10's of coasters in bulk.

The quality for the most part is pretty good, but there is no packaging to separate the packs of coasters. So a lot of them were damaged or the feet were scraped off. Because there was no packaging, some of the tops were scratched. I was able to sand down some of the scratches, but it could have been avoided if there were more packaging material in the manufacturers box, or something separating the coasters.
