It is easy to align and gives very reproducible measurements. I have a separate calibration kit from another purchase and it is very accurate and reproducible in measurements.

Buyer Beware, The first one I received was returned because the power cord was broken. The replacement was received and also returned because the scale wouldn't calibrate. The scale would not operate as the direction stated. The idems weighed weren't even close to actual weight. Will not try a third.

I can't speak to the accuracy as this is really impossible to tell without having another balance to cross-check with. However, the balance measurements were stable and the 200g calibration weight that came with it measured accurately. For calibration, considering this is a .01 gram balance, a much smaller calibration weight would be more apporopriate, like 50 g. The instructions are poor. Don't follow them for calibration as you'll be frustrated. The video in the listing for calibration is also not correct, but close enough that I could figure it out. Still not complaining as electronic balances that weigh down to .01 gram usually cost much more! Great deal!

This is a big scale...It is really easy to read the numbers on the backlit display as the numbers displayed are HUGE and very well backlit! Calibrating it is a cinch; the instructions are easy to understand and a 200g calibration weight was included. Also included is a plug-in adapter so that if you do not want to use two AA batteries, you can use electricity supplied by your home or business. The adjustable feet in conjunction with the fluid filled level is a nice touch. I suspect I will have this a very long time...very impressed. Thank You MOCCO!
