Stranded 24 gauge are loose. They can pull out. But if you're using in a static state, they're fine.

These connectors are great to repair wires in tight environments or when more advanced tools aren't available. Or for a temporary fix. Just unclip the ends and insert the conductor. No wire stripping necessary. Great for most automobile or trailer wiring repairs.

Got these because I was installing a new dimmer on my dinning room light. The problem was that the junction box was a shallow 1985 box with limited space and I knew I would never be able to get three wires with yellow caps in that space. Got these and they made life so easy. Quick and efficient to use. I will never use those old twisty caps again.
