I use it occasionally for my garage- just in case there’s any moisture or insects- nicely irradiates all! A few years ago I had the garage walls and floor painted- and now want it to be a ‘clean’ storage space. This unit is perfect to ensure just that- I use it in the summer every 1-2 months and in the winter every 3 -4 months. I don’t know how I lived without it!

This light was pretty easy to set up. We ran it in our bedroom during the day. There was that bit of an odd smell that people talk about, but I think it was any bed bugs dying off.I know some people have had problems with the light but I haven't had any problems with it so far.

Product works but timer does not and will not shut off on its own. Beware if left unattended expecting timer to work. You have to plug and unplug from wall to turn on and off which is very dangerous considering you are in arms reach and the goggles are not adequate eye protection from this UV light.

The unit worked properly the first few times I used it. Now when I plug it in, it's already in the on position and won't shut off unless I unplug it. I'm thankful it still works, but it's nice to have that remote shut off. Also, I can't tell if it's doing anything or is beneficial. I will continue to use it intermittently.

The first unit I received would not turn off using the main switch or the remote. Had to unplug the power cord to shut down, which is not good since it could be harmful to the body to be exposed to this type of light.The replacement unit I received worked properly the first two times of use, then the same issue occurred. Was this a coincidence?

I put it in a bedroom after we took down a waterbed and exposed the carpet for the first time in 40 years. We could smell burnt something. My husband said that was probably carcasses of dust mites. He read the literature. I put it back in last night and smelled nothing afterwards.
