This was super easy to use and didn’t have any trouble at all cutting through half inch birch plywood to make a perfect 6 inch hole for a cornhole board set I made. I used a 20 V cordless drill without any issues on a single battery no problems.

Needed this to cut in hole in my roof for a 6" bathroom exhaust fan vent. The size is good but I wish I'd gone up to 6-1/2 since there's not much room to pull the vent hose through. My problem. Anyway, the saw cut through the shingles pretty quickly but struggled a little with the sheathing. Maybe the blades are not as sharp as they could be or they wore quickly but it got the job done within a couple of minutes. Hole was nice and clean. I'm satisfied with the saw.

Much easier to use a hole saw than to free hand it with a rotary tool. Wasn’t sure which one to get (6†or 6 1/4†) so I got both.It easily cut through the cabinet, drywallj, plywood sheeting & the redwood siding for the ducting work. Also used it to notch out the cabinet shelving.

In the end I got a hole drilled, so I guess we can call it a success. I did, however, have a hard time getting it tightened (machining of the threads was far from perfect - had to use a small file to clear the threads in a couple spots), getting the hole started (both drill bit and saw teeth not very sharp or, more likely, dulled very quickly), and the progress of the saw through an inch of super soft pine took far longer than I would have liked. If you have one hole to drill and have some patience, this will most likely get it done. If you plan on using it more than once, I suggest looking elsewhere for a product made of harder, higher quality materials and is made to more stringent standards.Best of luck to you and your hole 🕳ï¸
