I highly recommend this little voice recorder. It is so easy to use, and the screen is great. The heft is good as is the smaller size. Everything you need comes in the box. It is rechargeable instead of using batteries. The first charge lasted a long time (longer than expected). The recording clarity is great during playback! The memory is plenty enough. The controls on the sides and the screen make everything a breeze.

We live on a 52' Trawler style boat 100% of the time while traveling or at anchor 99.99% of the time. We only stay at a marina overnight when we need to use a courtesy car for provisioning which isn't very often because we normally use our bicycles and cart for that purpose. We ordered this recorder because my wife wanted to start recording some of the conversations that we have while traveling through nature or while out exploring nature in our tender (small boat).We like this recorders size and features. It is very compact as you can see by the photos in the Amazon ad and the photo that I've attached. I've attached this photo because it shows how all of the buttons are not only marked on the button itself but also on the back of the unit, which is great.The operation guide is actually very good, which is unusual for a translated guide. It must have been translated by a person that speaks very good Chinese and English. It's very clear and steps through all of the buttons and features, which are many. In fact, the only defect I've been able to decern in the guide is that the play/pause symbol is displayed backwards in a few places. That's it.This recorder has some nice functions that are not mentioned in the ad. The following are just a few: The recorder will allow you to select how many minutes long you want each file to be while recording so that you can more quickly cue to the segment you want to hear. There is a recording timer that allows you to set up a daily timed recording. The recorder can double as an MP3 player with EQ modes. You can adjust bitrate from 128kbps MP3 quality up to 1536kbps WAV quality. You can select between Line In or Mic for recording and Speaker or Line Out for playback. There is an E to E mode that allows you to listen to the recording on the earbuds during recording. There are Gain, Voice Detection, and Noise Reduction settings.There are only two things that I can suggest to the manufacturer as improvements:1) The sensitivity adjustment for the automatic voice detection should be more coarse so that the lowest level would have even less sensitivity so as not to detect distant background sounds like a furnace.2) The Play button should also be marked as the power button, because you press and hold it to power on or off.All in all we think this is a nice little recorder and marketed at a very competitive price.all the best,dr

This voice recorder is very small yet very functional. You can record every sound in a large room with great detail. It is light weight and fits in a small pocket. It is very affordable. I have been using this device a lot.

I purchased this recorder to copy an old recording of a family interview for transcription. I was fearful the old copy on an outdated recorder would be lost and it was so easy to re record the interview with this recorder and make it into a digital file. I was impressed and surprised by the size! No doubt it is a helpful and useful tool, and for the price cannot be beat.

i really enjoyed using this recorder, for the background noise, you couldn't really hear any. the microphones and recording was very clear when recording for singing, talking, instruments; everything was perfect. the size is a great one because you can carry it in your pocket or a small bag. The one-touch recording button let you start or stop recording immediately up to 4800 hours when it detects sound . it has a built-in rechargeable battery up to 30 hours of continuous recording on a full charge. you can transfer files onto computers with a time stamp, password, has a Line-in input support for direct recording from other audio devices with variable Play Speeds, A-B repeat, mp3 player, one-click delete

Overall I am happy with this recorder. I would be happier if the manufacturer just gave real battery life expectations. I now see this is a new product, available since February 2025 so maybe the line in volume problem is simply a bug they can fix in a newer release. I asked the manufacturer questions but they have not responded. I would like to give it 5 stars but I can only give it 4.5 stars, which is still really good.Pros: • Well built • Small size • Lots of features, some I like are: ○ Section playback ○ Variable speed playback ○ Line in recording ○ Built in microphones, stereo recording ○ Long battery life. Not 30 hours as claimed but 15.5 hours ○ Huge memory for recordings ○ Built in speaker ○ Built in equalizer ○ Gain control ○ Volume control • Speaker sounds good • Needed cables are includedCons: • Battery life is only about half of that specified, 15.5 hours. • Recordings from the line in feature need to be amplified by about 316 times to make them audible. I used the freeware Audacity to do this. Recordings using the built in microphone are great and do not need any amplification. • Although it uses a USB-C connector it does not have USB-C speeds. Transfer speeds varied a bit but were around 1.7MBs. It takes about 8 minutes to transfer a 1 hour recording. • Every now and then it loses the date and time. I wasn't able to determine under what conditions this happens because it seems to just happen on its own. Not a big deal since it hasn't happened while recording.

The voice recorder comes well packaged and presented, with earphones, charging cables, USB to 3.5mm audio cable and instructions. Powered on via holding the play button for a few seconds, or quicker, the slide button on the right, which is the record/save slider. Sliding it to record powers it on and about 3 seconds later it is recording. Slide it down, and it stops recording and saves the remaining data to the 64Gb micro-SD car that is preinstalled. While it is powered on already, switching to record mode will start recording almost instantaneous, which is what you want in a recorder. Sound data doesn’t use that much space, so the 64Gb should easily hold the 1200hrs claimed depending on the bit rate set to. In any case, if you’re recording narrative, you will want to get that onto a PC/Laptop anyway as that amount of data and probably many files, will be very difficult to manage through the device.Sound production and playback is pretty decent considering its tiny size, around that of an average lighter is probably the closest comparative item I can think of. Use of the unit is a little tricky and cumbersome to get used to in terms of which buttons to use and when, so it will take some time getting to grips with it, but with regular use, this should become second nature.Overall, a decent little recorder with several useful features, even the date and time display is a nice touch. The price of the unit is fair in my view too… I like it!

Got this for recording meetings and interviews. It is a net little recording device that works well.The HDD size at 64gb is not bad at all for the price of this device. Additionally it has voice activation. the amount of times there is silence in lectures or meetings without voice activation you need to listen to the whole silence as well as the recorded voices. This device lets you just record the voices which is great especially when listening back or transcribing. There are seven levels of sensitivity for the voice recording so make sure you test which level you want to use before hand. The device controls are relatively easy to work considering the size of the device. the digital screens works well and is clear and easily read. The menu is intuitive and straightforward, so very easy to work out.The device has an internal rechargeable battery and it is charged via the USB-C provided cable and a single charge provides 24hrs of continual recording.There are numerous other feature such as password protection for your file or variable Play Speed, A-B repeat, mp3 player, screensaver, playback, one-click delete etc etcAll in all this is a nice neat recorder that works well and is discreet with lots of operate function. I highly recommend..

This little digital voice recorder is so tiny, the perfect size for popping in your bag or pocket for quickly recording your thought when on the go. It seems very well made and charges reasonably quickly and so far the battery life seems pretty good. It took me a while to get the hang of the functions and how to operate it but once I had it’s actually pretty straightforward for the basic recording and play back. I’m not a very tech minded person, so if I can work it out then I’m pretty sure most other folks can too. I’m super pleased with it, such a handy little recorder.
