I used this on a pendant lamp to dress it up and make it look more elegant than it really is. Worked great! Very easy to to use. I don't recommend for anything more than 20lbs. It's more for decoration than for heavy lifting. Great value for the price!

This chain is the standard size for swag lamps and is made of appropriate gage material; it does not lose its shape when the weightis applied and can also be useful to make craft items. I have used this chain to hang my IKEA lamp and had enough left to make a DIY rain chain with good result of a swag lamp s. The links do not give way easily but can be opened with two pairs of pliers and then closed again securely.

I keep chain like this around for various purposes like hanging wind chimes, bird houses, treats in the chicken run, etc. I like that you can get a custom length just by using pliers to open a link.This even has two bonus links one on each end that you can screw open and closed.

String metal chandelier chain. This is perfect for my new hanging light. I need to wait for my electrician to install the light but needed a new chain that was string than what we had and this is perfect. I love the bronze finish too.

I am using this to refurbish a hanging oil rain lamp and it works perfectly. My only complain is that I wish the links were just a tiny bit larger so that they would slide over the in-line switch. I have to pry apart and then reconnect each link that I want to run the lamp cord through. I appreciate that the chain is solid, but it makes the process of pulling the links apart and pushing them back together a bit of a challenge. But, it's solid and looks very nice.
