First, I have owned and been using these speakers for about 2 months now. I bought these speakers looking to replace my on-wall Polk Audio RM85 surround speakers. When I built my house, I had home theater pre-wired in my walls knowing one day I would install my own in-wall speakers. I bought these based on the Amazon reviews and figured for the price, It couldn't be bad.First impression was the build quality. The speakers are solid and feel well built. I bought the 6.5" woofer / tilt tweeter model. Each speaker came in its own box and contained the cut out template. I simply traced it on my wall, cut it out, connected the audio wire, placed the speaker in the wall and tightened down the perimeter screws built into the speaker frame. It was that easy.Audio Quality:I was using Polk Audio RM85 on wall speakers which had 2 inch woofers and 1/2 inch static tweeters. Once I got the speakers installed and calibrated with my new Denon receiver, the difference in movie/song quality was night and day. I set my receiver to "large" speakers to hear their full potential and was impressed. With the sub woofers off, the speakers output an energetic sound signature. There was plenty of balanced mid range and high end support along with a little thump, not a ton, but more than enough for most people. The bass was balanced and full, id say 90-120htz was its prime response frequency. An upright bass in jazz music was felt through out the room where as the low sub-bass of electronic music was kind of there but not in your face. I then set my receiver to "small" speakers and calibrated with my subwoofers (twin 12's) and the whole room came to life!I bought this model to match the wattage output of my receiver and its amazing how much detail I now hear in music and movies. I like that they have a 3 position volume switch under the directional tweeter, I found that leaving it at 0 worked for me, my ceilings are double height in my room so it works out best to have a little more. I have had these speakers up pretty loud, for you Denon users around volume 70, which is really high and the speakers do not flutter or cloud over, really impressive for the price. I uploaded a few pictures for you all to see of the install and what not.I hope this review helps, I would buy more of these of if I had the in-wall wiring, I would love a Dolby Atmos set up one day =)

Based on the reviews on Amazon, I decided to give these speakers a shot, while shopping for in-ceiling speakers in my new house. While price wise, they were one of the cheapest, the reviews noted little to no issues with the performance. Installation and packaging issues are minor to me, because they are easily fixable. I considered the followings before purchase:Polk audio: $75/SpMicca: $41/Sp (Previously owned and loved them)Monoprice: $53/SpSilver Ticket: $31/SpI also considered angled speakers, which were slightly higher in price for all. But, being in-ceiling speakers, I wasn’t too concerned about sound direction (satisfied with pivoting tweeter) and more interested in sound showers. My set up: 4 in-ceiling (Front –R & L, Rear R & L) and 1 center speaker (Underneath the TV). Floor sub. Used with my Pioneer VSX 524 (still running strong and was used with previous settings as well).Price: Silver Ticket 82C was the least expensive, yet with high performance reviewed speakers. So I figured, if they don’t work too well, I’ll buy Micca (Previously owned and performed well for 3 years, till the sale of the house), which will still equal to Polk audio price. But for now, the money I save, I can invest in a floor sub to add to my surround sound system.Installation: All of the speakers came with everything in the package. No issues with shipping (Amazon Prime Rocks). I used a makeshift bowl with foam padding to go on top of the speakers as enclosure, to control the vibration and spill effect upstairs (learned from previous installation). Besides the maneuvering to place them right in between joists due to corner TV location (Entirely my issue due to the shape of the room, and has nothing to do with the speakers), the actual installation of the speakers were a breeze.Product quality: The speaker seemed pretty solid and heavy. The cloth like material behind the grill was a great touch to keep dust away. Tweeters construction seemed solid, but wouldn’t play around with it too much.Performance: The speakers sounded clean. Tweeter’s weren’t too prominent as Micca (previously used). But overall sound quality and level was great, even at high volume. It sure was louder compared to my Micca (same 8â€). Music, Sports and movies sounded good with the different settings.Overall: Very happy with the initial results. Hopefully it will hold up the performance for a while. For now… Fully deserved 5 STAR.

I moved recently and decided to replace an old Pioneer VSX5900S to take advantage of some of the newer technology and to complement my new 75†Samsung HDTV. Since I was in a new space, I thought why not just build a system like I really want? After lots of research on in wall/ceiling speakers, I narrowed it down to an entry price point speaker system, a middle price point system, and a high end system. Since the Silver Ticket speakers had consistently high ratings, I figured I'd try them with the intent to return them if they weren't up to par. Long story short, these guys are keepers!I have the 82C in the rear, the 82S2C up front, the 5252AC in the center anchored by a pair of Polk PSW10's running off of a Sony STRDH590. Sub-$1000 that sounds AWESOME!The Silver Ticket speakers sound incredible, were super easy to install (especially if you have a Dremel or RotoZip or similar power tool), look great, and sound really good for a system that in total costs less than $400. They have realistic sound, not too bright and not too boomy. I would definitely recommend investing in a subwoofer, but even if you don't, you'll be pleasantly surprised at the lows you can get out of these speakers. In short, the Silver Ticket speakers are winners!

I was initially upset because I thought I ordered a pair of speakers for $80 not just one. However, I took it out of the box and was seriously impressed with how solid the components are. I kept it and ordered another one for the other side.

Was looking to add Atmos top speaker in my setup, bought a pair of these and had it mounted.I was surprised at the size of the speakers. They are pretty big.As for the sound, I think they are very good for the price paid. Hopefully, they lasts a long time.
