Living outside without a cover this electrical part will eventually stop working. This replacement part will have you going again. Don’t forget to change the battery, which is in a different location on the grill.

This two-terminal button provides a momentary switch closure when pressed. The terminals protrude out of a water repellant material allowing simple connection of the necessary wires.

I am so excited that they sell this in a two pack. This is one of the parts that are known to not work well or even if it works, break quickly. Just a bad design for taking all of the abuse that we put the button through when we are in a hurry. I have yet to install these but these function out of the box and has all of the right parts and pieces for the GS4 burner igniter system. Remember - this is only to be used for the GS4 system. Dont order it if you need it for some other grill. For now I recommend!

I really can't say if this igniter works well or not -- only that I think I ordered the wrong one. I do have a Weber Genesis 300 -- but maybe it's not a Genesis II or GS4? The igniter (on the left of the second picture) looks quite a bit smaller than the original one on my grill (on the right of the second picture), so I didn't take it apart and try it. When it's not freezing out and when I can get the necessary screws loose, I will actually try it and report back if it does happen to work. Just check your model carefully and it will probably be fine.

After about four years, the igniter on my Weber Spirit II G4 started requiring the button to be pressed 2 or 3 times to ignite the grill, and there was a noticeable delay. This replacement is identical to the OEM part and was very easy to install, requiring no tools. Simply line up the notches on the back of the button, pull it out, and disconnect the two wires—polarity doesn’t matter.I replaced it in the time it took to brew a K-Cup of coffee. Now, my Weber grill ignites on the first try every try. I will report back if there are any issues with this over the summer.
