My husband loves these he was given a bull smoker grill last year for Christmas from his nephew and he was so excited about it. But this year we had hurricane Helena hit us and it was bad. Believe it or not the Bull was fine but the Bull meat thermometers vanished. I was so happy to be able and order them for him on Amazon. They came within a few days and he was so happy to have them. This is advertised to fit a RecTec RT-590. It DOES NOT fit. Everything appears to the correct size and length, but they pre-assemble the plug. The plug DOES NOT fit through the hole for routing the ignitor to the wiring harness. I tried removing the wires from the molex plug to fish them through, but broke the wires in the process.

Purchased as a direct replacement for my Recteq RT700. These proves worked just as good as the original ones supplied from the factory. I have no complaints.

Installed this on my RecTec RT-590 about six months ago after my smoker kept tripping the breaker and shutting off. Research showed the igniter was likely the cause. Simple enough to install and runs like a clock.
