Easy Installation
Step1. Cut off the power supply.
Step2. Remove the light source and BALLAST(Our LED fan light retrofit panel has driver on the board and just connect 120V AC directly , no extra external AC and DC driver needed ).
Step3. Choose one method suitable for your fixture.(with magnets or screws)
Step4. Connect wires with wire connector,positive to positive and negative to negative.

1. take off the light cover and measure the light base to make sure the light base plate's outside diameter is larger than the 5.12inch .
2 .check if the original light base plate is iron or can you use screws to fasten the light retrofit kit .

In the kitchen I have a decorative ceiling fan 3sp/reverse w/dimming remote. lights are 2 40wt halogen going through a slightly yellow tinted glass dome that is 8in diam. Very little usable light. Installed this one as a retrofit replacement. Light color is switchable from 3.5 to 6. I put it on 6 and it blows right through that yellow tinted glass. Very bright. Tested the dimming function and works fine. If you have a ceiling fan with bulbs, get this instead. You will be happy you did.

The Circline bulb in my torch lamp failed and replacements are scarce as hens teeth and as expensive as a gold crown (not really but you get the idea). I liked my torch lamp and wanted to keep it so I found this item that would do the trick.But...it is not so straight forward. I had to remove the Circline bulb and its base. The torch lamp also had a rotary dimmer on the pole that is not compatible with the new LED unit. That meant I had to completely disassemble the torch lamp and remove the dimmer control. At first I just bypassed the dimmer, plugged the lamp in and wow, a nice bright light but way to bright. First I changed the color to a warmer one. What a great feature! The color pretty well matched the old fluorescent bulb. But it was still too bright.So I bought a lamp dimmer control https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B09MCN7GQ8?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details, stripped out the circuit from the inline holder, insulated it with heat shrink tubing and installed it into the original position in the torch lamp pole. It works perfectly.I don't recommend this for the faint of heart or electrically challenged, but it sure works for me.

Got this to go into a new ceiling fan (upgrade of the standard). It has a few warmth settings and a solid array of leds. Comes with a quick splice connector for easy install. Has magnets on the back panel to stick to most metal surfaces. Great upgrade!

Good solution to revamping a round bulb fixture. Note you do have to remove the ballast, and mechanically this may make it difficult to mount it. Not their fault, just be aware you might need to engineer some hardware to make it compatible.

This was easy to install and a great value. It made a huge difference lighting my bedroom as the original LED that came with my fan was awful. The fit was good but I will note that it was a bit tough to get the magnets to stick once the wiring was done. I just had to pull the wires through to the front a bit and I was able to get the magnets attached. Overall a great product.
