7222 Injector Tube Remover/Installer Tools
FITMENT: Fits GM 6.6L Duramax Diesel, 2001 to present.
REPLACE: Similar to J-45910, replace to OTC 7222.
FUNCTION: Removes injector sleeves for service and re-installs.
OPERATION: No need to remove any rocker arms or valve springs, just fully seat the tool in the injector.
6778 & 6779 Injector Puller
6678: Fit for 2005-2011 model year GM Duramax 6.6L engines.
REPLACE: Similar to J-46594, replace to OTC 6778.
6779: Fit for 2001-2004 model year GM Duramax 6.6L engines.
REPLACE: Similar to J-44639, replace to OTC 6779.
FUNCTION: Designed to safely pulls the injectors from the cylinder heads without pulling the injector cups.
INSTALLATION: Simply insert the tool into the injector retainer bracket bolt hole, attach a socket and ratchet/breaker bar to one of the hex ends and start rocking back and forth - the injector will pop right out.

I bought this tool kit to help make my job replacing the fuel injectors and injector cups easier on a 03 lb7 duramax, and it did. I would highly recommend this kit to anyone who is going to be replacing their fuel injectors and injector cups. It is definitely worth the money.

Part # 6778 broke on the 3rd injector. I've been doing this for over 15 years. Ive done countless Duramax injectors. It's not like I don't know what im doing. Included is a photo. I would like a replacement, otherwise I'll be returning it. I still have 5 injectors to go and possibly 6 cups. 2 of them came out with the injectors. I'll be using the cup removal tool and hopefully it doesn't break. $100 tool shouldn't break that easily. With that said, I emailed them and they got back to me within a few hours! They offered to send a new injector puller. The sleeve puller worked great and I have zero issues with it. Customer service for this seller is on point. I already have a tracking number for the tool. All this within half a day! Not impressed by one of the tools but highly impressed by the customer service. Jenny is the one that has helped me out. Thank you very much!

went to use it as shown slid into the hole and attached the ratchet. All it did was bend as I pulled. I didn't even get the first injector out. Complete waste of money DO NOT PURCHASE if it's stuck

My 6778 tool broke in two on the first injector and upon inspecting the tool it had a crack in the casting before it got coated. Should have been caught in QC and thrown out.

Bought for a 2006 Duramax.Tab that goes into bolt hole broke on the first one without getting injector out.Used small flathead screwdriver instead

This doesn't work for an lml duramax at all. Save your money and just use the keeper upside down and a hammer with a drift. Bought it and still had to do it this way.
