I am so excited to receive this extra handy gardening tool. We have just about every other gardening tool at my house, but no dibbler. We will be planting lots of vegetable and herb seedlings this year, and the dibbler is large enough to dig a hole the right size. Not to mention we have lots of bulbs to plant and this will make the work go so much quicker than a shovel. Inevitably, when I’m using a small shovel, I throw up dirt on myself. I love that the dibbler has markings on it for planting seeds at the correct depth. The pistol grip is a tad large for my petite hands, but I am able to use it. The dibbler fits my husband’s large hands perfectly and I expect will last a lifetime.

Its a good product, however the depth scale molded on it that indicates how deep of a hole you made for particular seeds is not visible at all. I used a permanent marker to mark the inches and half inches. Even then its difficult to see.

Used this to plant a half-acre garden. It is light-weight, strong and easy to use. The side has a measurement guide that makes attaining the appropriate depth a breeze.

I didn’t care for this item. It didnt meet my needs. It was too narrow and short to be able to plant bulbs
