Feature:
1. 6DOF Manipulator is widely used in college teaching, IDY production.
2. Its power system consists of 6 servo motors, which can realize the demonstration of front and rear, up and down and left and right gripping of the robot.
3. All bracket fittings are made of 2mm thick aluminum plate, which effectively improves the stability of the robot itself.
4. Imported cup bearings are used at the steering joints, which not only makes the steering more flexible, but also allows the steering of the steering gear to be at the same center.
5. The chassis is in the form of a disc, which makes the manipulator turn left and right more flexible and smooth.

took a while to assemble. found instructions online on youtube. servos are not great. but it was a cool project

There is absolutely nothing that shows how to assemble or operate. I can’t even find any hardware in the packaging.DONT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT!

It has 6 servos but one of the axis is the gripper. Not a true 6 axis robot arm. But everything worked. Doesn’t come with instructions but was able to follow through other resources online similar to this robot. Extra screws would be great as I had lost one for the servos.

There are several models similar to this available. This one has no assembly instructions and is definitely not for 'kids'. There are a few similar models that will give a vague idea on how it was intended to be assembled, the closest being the absolute worst you-tube video I have ever seen for this kind of thing. If you need the metal bits for a project, they are pretty well made. But I wouldn't buy this again for any other reason.

The hardware kit is very substantial. It comes with what appears to be extra screws and nuts, but there is not assembly manual so it is hard to say whether I used all of them as expected.I tested each servo one and a time and had problems with them. This testing was done using a AA pack with 4 cells where one cell was bad. With the bad cell I had a lot of servo jitter and position hunting. This went away when I put in a fresh set of batteries.So far I have found that the MG996R servos work well with the hardware.
