This hole saw worked great! The hole was consistent and right at 6" in diameter. I had to drill through a decorative ceiling that's on top of drywall and the bit had no problem. The arbor is actually pretty darn good and it came with two nice pilot bits.

Saw bit cuts well and dust catcher is ok. If it looses grip with ceiling at all, dust flys everywhere.

Installing 6-inch recessed lights. This saw cuts a perfectly round 6-inch hole. The cover collects the falling drywall dust. The saw itself is built strong and easy to assemble. It quickly cuts the hole into the drywall. The size of the saw-bit will not fit a 3/8 inch drill, I used a 1/2 inch drill. I have cut eleven (11) 6-inch holes so far with many more to go and the quality of this saw is holding up. Well worth the money for having the right tool.

I needed a precise 6†hole for kitchen wafer lights. Since it was a kitchen I wanted to minimize the mess. The hole saw measured 6†and the rubberized catch basin kept the mess and dust to a minimum. I was very pleased. It’s not the highest quality tool but for $21 it definitely did the job.

Absolutely horrible! I cut one hole which was 1/4 wood shiplap and 1/2 drywall and wont even start the second hole. Complete garbage! Do not waste your money. I now have to stop what I am doing and order a new one. Definitely not this one!!!!
