these split bolts are absolute junk. first one i tried the threads stripped out as it was just getting snug not even tight, tried a second one and it broke in half just past the snug point. the rest of the pack is going in the garbage.

The supplier failed to specify these are metric nuts requiring a 12mm and 16mm wrench which knocked off 1 star. Otherwise this is a 5 star component and worked well to bond 2 #8AWG wires. Plenty of space for two #6AWG as well.

These are about the same as what you'd find in your local hardware store. They work well--I wish the depth was a little more so I could splice in a 3rd ground wire. But they work very well.
