the case and internal parts are good but they used the cheapest my guess 18 gauge wires which is not good. A trailer brake controller needs to support at least 30 amps, the supplied wires would definitely melt with 15 amps.

I had a 4 pin trailer connecter but needed a 7 pin to use a buddies trailer. This was quick to mount and hookup so I had the lights working. Probably will wire in the power lead in the future but was happy to get this installed so fast and get on the road.

Overall, very nice 7 way RV plug receptacle. Housing is made of all plastic, though I would prefer a metal housing, it seems plenty thick and stout. The wire leads are of ample length and the terminal ends are professionally attached with heat shrink tubing. Kit comes with a mounting plate to avoid having to drill a large hole in your vehicle and comes with mounting hardware as well.
