I recently bought a new enclosed trailer and the place I bought it from installed an electric brake system in the van that required a larger 7 pin connector for the electric brake unit. It required taking the old trailer connector out and replacing it with the larger connector which left me without the ability to use my small open trailer electric system. Then I found this 7 pin to 4/5 pin flat blade adapter that works easily and fits perfectly in the new trailer receiver on my van without having to cut into the wiring harness or mount another receiver on the rear bumper of my van. Just plug it in and connect your trailer wire to it and you’re done. Very reasonably priced and made well.
