Very simple, connect it to your mother board PCIE slot, and enjoy! There's nothing more to it. This is an amazing expansion card that eliminated the need for me to use USB hubs. Now I have everything connected directly to the mother board, and working with reliability and speed. Buy it. It is a great piece of hardware to invest in.

i really only just installed it it was pretty easy i just watched a youtube video. perfect fit and all. it says on one port theres like complience issue but idk what that means. the ports have been tested for speed and function and work good. easier and cheaper then buying a 40 dollar usb hub and better because its direct. i will update if anything happens

Card works flawlessly to connect more USB devices, however, because the orientation of the USB ports are vertical the connections are a little tight. If found that if I angle the USB cable downwards slightly and rotate up, it slides in, but if you're trying to come in drectly, youre likely to hit the frame of the case where the separations are.

I added this card to my computer to get some much needed USB ports. It is a bit difficult to plug in the USB wires, but not impossible. Best way is to rock the plug up and down until it catches and goes in. Since this is at the rear of my computer I have added several USB extension cables and routed them to the front of my desk. From there I can plug in any USB device I need without having to move the computer or fit the plug into the card. The rest of the spots have external hard drives plugged in.I have not noticed any issues with data transfer using my external hard drives or with any flash drives.

I did not have to install any drivers other than what came with Windows 11. I just popped into an empty slot on my motherboard and it worked perfectly.

Performs well for the price but you may need to tweak your case. I had to trim parts of my case to access the usb ports properly. The issue is the clearance to plug your usb connector. A re-design should be considered by the manufacturer. Otherwise, not too bad.

Got this so I could easily manage a lot of USB 3.x external drives. Great speed even when I purposely copy multiple large files from drive to drive.Perfect for helping with merging and management of large volumes or USB sticks.Running on a Microsoft Server 2022 running a Jellyfin media server with over 50TBs. Good for an external setup before I move up to purpose built NAS

Although the card failed within a month, we have negotiated to have a replacement card sent to me even after the 30-day return policy. They are easy to deal with and stand behind their products. When the card worked it worked great but just like anything, I understand there is always a small failure rate and they were very cooperative in addressing that issue with a replacement card. Thank you very much

Works and fits well into old HP tower with pci-e 2.0, so can add some USB3.0 gigabit ethernet ports.Note that this card is USB3.2 Gen1, which is the same as USB3.0 with 1.5amps@5volts per usb port, and 5gbps max theoretical throughput.

If you're like me, and have a lot of USB devices but even the newest motherboards just don't have enough ports, then this will be a huge benefit for you. Transfer speeds are within the tolerances for the standard, plug and play in my Windows 11 Pro machine, and gives me the extra ports I desperately needed and great value for the money. A+ all around.

It works. Thankfully. But, there’s a BIG gap on the case back where the card sits cockeyed thanks to its horrible fit into the pci slot. The attaching screw has ro be forced into its threads. Not good.I don’t like this and I’m considering a return to replace it with another.One end of the pin connector simply will not set deep enough into the MB slot.
