To put it on- cut and slip under and up the strings from the bottom. I put the first one all the way across and just dots on the sides. Use a tuner to find the exact spot.Stays on -stays on long enough-my goal is to have muscle memory by the time they fall off. This shouldn’t be a forever thing. Love having more colors. Can also be used, sparingly, to help on difficult pieces.

This is a very nice violin. I didn't see much of a difference from the ones I rented at a music store. The e string broke a few days after use but was easy to replace. Overall its a very nice instrument.

They do the job and look good. I like the clear colored tape because it is a great way to ween off using tape all together. Problem is even after cleaning the back of the necks the tape starts peeling off at the ends after a few days. I have had to use other types of tape to keep the ends down on the back.

Does not stay put on the instrument with even mild usage. While the kit appears to be a good value, you are much better off purchasing a more reputable tape.

This tape sticks to itself so well it was hard to get it started. My students love the colors and it sticks well to the violin finger board.

Difficult to put on instrument as they are thin and curl up. Peel off after a couple of weeks.
