You can definitely pay a lot more for a tripod collar. But why, such a simple device and easy to manufacture, many good options available these days. This one is sleek and small footprint compared to some. It fits the Canon RF 2X extender perfect at its specified 71mm inside diameter. Has four 1/4 inch and one 3/8 inch threaded mounting holes to fit any possible set up. Well done Foto4easy!

Used it on my Samyang 135 mm lens. Added some stick on green felt to the inside fit on my lens is perfect and holds the very well also I can undo it a little and rotate my lens as needed. Thank you, Very well built and costs much less than the similar items on Amazon. allows me to balance my camera with the heavy Samyang 135 mm lens attached perfectly!

I am using this with a Fotasy M645 to GFX adapter to mount my Mamiya APO 200mm f/2.8 lens on my Fujifilm GFX 50R camera. I measured this adapter beforehand and it matches the diameter of this tripod ring. I am happy that the tripod ring fits it quite well. Thanks to this, I am able to take stable long exposure photographs at night with this lens.

I've purchased a few of these for my Sigma telephoto lenses. They're generally really well made, fit perfectly, move the tightening knob out of the way and their biggest advantage over the original piece is that they sit the actual tripod foot mount a bit further off the lens barrel, and that little extra space allows me a better carrying handle with my chubby hands; those 4 things make them a great value and an improvement over the original piece. Usually. Unfortunately, on this one, while the fit, the relocation of the knob and the extra space were there on this one, I noticed almost immediately that the tripod foot was crooked (it's a 2 piece design). I removed the foot (it's screwed on) and the problem became clear; the part of the collar that fir into the notch in the foot had not been machined properly, and needed to have the corners knocked off. 5 minutes with a flat file fixed it, and fortunately the corners where the finish had to be removed to accomplish this are hidden (the piece is aluminum, so corrosion isn't a concern) and now it all fits tight and perfectly, but what the heck? Not everyone has the tools and the capability to fix that, it should be assembled properly. Deducted 2 stars, sorry!
