Just the right size for us. So incredibly easy! If I were to complain about anything, it would be I think they could have made the dome a little easy to put on. Not that's it hard but you have to line it up perfectly.But I still give it a 5-star rating because once you put the eggs in it and power it up, you can forget about until about three days before the eggs are ready to hatch, then you have to remove the wheel that rotates the eggs, which is super easy.

I received this incubator a little over 3 weeks ago and placed 8 eggs from our small flock in it. Today is day 21 ! Two have hatched and 4 more are working at it! It has worked well- the gear tray turns eggs automatically and the water bottles help control humidity!

I am writing this review in hopes that no one else has to go through what I did.This was my first time ever incubating eggs and I was so excited to try this product out. I had done lots of research on different incubators and decided this was the best option available. After receiving it, I set it up and let it run for a day (per instructions). It was working perfectly. I then carefully chose and added 4 fertilized eggs from my chickens.To my dismay, 48 hours after adding these eggs the entire device shut off. I happened to be sitting right next to it when it happened. I have no idea what caused it or why it happened. I hadn’t touched it or adjusted it in any way. It was running at the recommended/factory temp and humidity (100° and 60% humidity) the entire time. I followed all troubleshooting advice on the instructional pamphlet and contacted Amazon who walked me through additional troubleshooting steps. Nothing worked. Even when I connected it to an external battery, it still remained broken. I began to worry about losing my eggs, which I eventually did.The value for your money isn’t there. I don’t even want a replacement because I no longer trust that this brand’s products will work. I am so disappointed about the preventable loss of my chicks. For this to be my first experience trying to hatch my own eggs, I feel completely defeated and heartbroken.

I really like this thing. It’s been in my “Save for later†for a while because of the base price, but I happened to see it was on sale recently and decided I deserved a little treat. I also got a second beverage holder, which wasn’t available the last time I looked, and I think having two really makes a difference with how convenient it can be

New to this process - I didn’t want to spend a lot of money up front: this is very easy to use and is preset for chicks.

The top and bottom shipping styrofoam can be added to this incubator for an insulated unit. Easy to use

This product consistently maintains the temperature, but the humidity fluctuates up to 25 degrees sometimes and it is affecting the hatch rate of my eggs. I'm thinking of returning it.
