If all you are looking for is a way to lock zippers against each baggage rifling for valuables, or just so a quick thief tries to check what you have, these will work. In fact, if your zippers have a built-in lock hasp (small metal donuts that overlap when closed), this mini lock is probably what you need.Anything with a larger hasp likely won't fit either the donuts or the tip ends of zippers to prevent easy access. So your choices are pretty much limited to small locks. The positives for these is you get a dozen of them, all keyed alike, for only $2.25 each at the time I ordered mine.And each one comes with two keys. If your the only one using these locks, that's way more keys than you will ever need. But if you are sharing with family members, or maybe friends, or a traveling team, then it means everyone can have a key plus a spare. Which I like.Just understand, if someone wants in you luggage and has even a small pair of metal shears, it won't take much to clip these off. So most of the deterrent here is for baggage handlers, hotel staff, and while you have your eyes on your bag while out and around.Besides, if you luggage is canvas or nylon or other similar materials, a sharp knife will simply allow someone to slit the bag open, and skip the lock. But this is none of these possible ways around the lock are likely less apt to happen with another lock. There is only so much a small lock on a zipper can do.They good new is they are not just TSA "Safe Skies" compliant, but also compliant acceptable in other countries, including Britain, Canada, Austrailia, New Zealand, Switzerland, Israel, Germany, and possibly other places. So good for global travel.I haven't tried to see if these will open with a paper clip. I did notice the key is not very complicated. But again, this is a deterrent. Or put another way, it says to the quick theif, try some other bag that isn't locked instead of messing with mine. Not a perfect no entry ever device, but then none of the other mini TSA locks I've seen are, either.Overall, for adding at least an extra step to avoid luggage pilfering, I'd say these are worth having. Not much else you can do, especially with soft sided luggage someone can cut open with a knife. Probably the only other questions is, "Do you prefer a smaller key lock, or larger combination lock so you don't have to keep up with a key?"That's a question of size vs. keeping up with a key. But with two keys for every lock. it won't be easy to lose all of them somewhere. On the other hand, there are master keys that will open any TSA lock, and don't fool yourself: key or combination lock, a master key will open it. Only so much you can do.

I was traveling and needed to have some locks on my luggage and some of the items inside of my luggage. I found these and, frankly, they are perfect for the task. As you know, TSA needs to be able to get into luggage for inspection purposes and, should they not be able to, your locks will get cut. These satisfy the need because TSA has standard keys that fit these. They are easy to install and serve the purpose of deterring would be amateurs. Let's face it, pros will still get through but then again, if you are traveling with the Hope Diamond keep it in your carry on.5 stars from me.

I have tried multiple type of locks for luggage and backpacks when traveling, but I come back to a true key lock every time. These are strong and mighty while still being small in size. They don't get in the way or add weight. The keys are universal so that one key can be used across your set. Colors help us identify bags and color code to person. I highly recommend.

These DWOYOW 12 Pack 11/12 in Wide TSA Luggage Locks (pack of 12) also fit through the holes in my purse's duel zippers. I live in a very large house. While I trust family, we do not always know their friends, co-workers, acquaintances that visit.If I am at the other end of the house, downstairs, in the garage, or outside, my purse is unguarded in my room. These little locks are a great deterrent to opportunistic, wanna' be fast grabbers! Plus, hiding the key is so much easier than having to hide my bulky purse.
