Despite being securely attached to my Pelican case, one of the locks unexpectedly broke off during transit, leaving just the silver metal hook attached to my case. While the other lock remained intact and performed as expected, this incident was concerning and unexpected.Despite this isolated incident, I still believe these locks offer good value for the price and provide adequate security for most travel situations. However, I would advise exercising caution and regularly inspecting the locks for any signs of wear or damage to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.

I purchased this to secure the standard Baretta O/U Blue ABS Case that ships with a Silver Pigeon. Unfortunately this was slightly too thick to go through the locking hole on the case even thought the measurements on the lock indicated it would.As for the functionality, setting the combination was very easy, but I was disappointed that the lock didn't push down and enter the body like a normal MasterLock Combination lock, instead it swung into a crescent thin piece of metal. I'm sure it's functional as a lock, but not the strongest if you are looking to secure something well.

Recientemente mi hijo viajo al extranjero y el lugar donde estarÃa hospedado no ofrecÃa caja de seguridad y es indispensable poder tener documentos como el pasaporte y tarjetas resguardados en un lugar adecuado durante este tiempo por lo que compre este candado para junto con una caja hermética para resguardo de electrónicos y un cable de seguridad armar una caja que pudiera asegurar a un mueble en la habitación, si bien no es igual que una caja de seguridad es una muy buena alternativa para tener seguras tus pertenencias. El candado es lo suficientemente fuerte para el uso que tenÃa en mente, también se puede usar para asegurar equipaje y tiene la bondad de que se configura facilmente la combinación para no tener que andar cargando llaves.

This works great. Unlike the typical TSA luggage locks, which are very thin, this lock is thicker and sturdier, and not so easily to snap or break off. This fits perfectly on my Pelican/Nanuk cases as well to secure my contents when transporting it around during my travels.
