The parts are OK for the price...The gaskets are slightly skinnier and much softer that the original. My original is a hard rubber, these are like a sponge material, but they do work well at forming a seal and the slightly skinnier size may actually work better as less gasket gets into the food area. The blades seem to be of good quality. The problem I am having is that the depth of the screw well on the blade seems to be shallower than the original, also the screw on base cap is also smaller and sinks deeper into the well making the blade bottom out before the cap has sealed. I solved this problem by placing two washers one on the inside of the cap and one on the outside. This razed the blade just enough to allow it to work. It's not as sturdy and is more particular as to where it seats than the original but it works. The original would pretty much seat in any position. This base is particular and only seats at one position. The Coupling stud seems to be slightly smaller than the original and so replacing that part may solve some of the problems, as it won't stick out as much and I may not need the second washer. I haven't done that yet, but plan to sometime in the future. My Blender is the Oster 6854 model... The whole package is really a bargain though when you take into account the price of a new blender.

The black bottom doesn't fit my Oster Fusion. It screws into the glass jar and holds the blade, but it wobbles on the motor base.This type of product should say clearly what blenders it is designed to fit.

We needed a blender because we wanted to start making smoothies., So we looked around our house, and discovered we had a "35 year old Oster Classic Series OSTERIZER GALAXIE BLENDER/CHOPPER" just like the one on Amazon, sitting in our closet, but it had a plastic jar/pitcher and we felt that if it were glass it would be more sanitary, and we could put it in our dishwasher. This is an absolutely a perfect replacement. All the parts fit perfectly and the glass 5 cup square Jar works great on our old blender, which amazingly works perfectly. We also ordered a kit that included 4 rubber gaskets, 1, 6 blade and 1, 4 blade mixers, as well as the stem that fits into the top of the blender and the bottom of the blade. All was a great experience, and the delivery was perfect.

Bought these for the shaft replacement on an older Oster blender. Shaft fits and works perfectly. Base fits my blender glass but is a little loose in the blender. Blades for and work as well as the seals.
