I liked that it has 3 ways to charge it, USB, solar and crank...the sound quality is very good, very easy to use, and had a strong flashlight. It's bigger than the smaller one I had bought 2 years ago and not more money so I bought two. One for me and one as a gift for my grandson. he too was impressed with it. You can use it in the backyard or any place you don't have plug ins for and electric one too. Just great!

Set to WB to listen for emergency announcements or weather. AM,FM,WB all work. I bought 5 so I could give to my family members. Use for hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes, power grid failure. The more your informed the better you will be prepared.

I haven’t got to read the manual to see if the solar charges the entire unit or just charges the light… I haven’t fully tested it other than to make sure everything worked, and so far so good!!!
