Twippo crimping tool comes with wide crimping range: 0.5-2.5mm²/20-14AWG, it is a very practical ratcheting wire crimper.
NOTE:
- It is important to identify the insulation tabs, conductor tabs and wings on the terminals.
These wings work for locking the connectors. ***DON’T CRIMP WINGS***
Crimp conductor tabs to the stripped wires. Crimp insulation tabs to the insulated wires.
Don't deform the terminals (otherwise, the terminals and connectors will not be locked).
- PULL TEST is very important.
Pull test to make sure that the terminals are crimpped well, if the terminals do not tight into the place, the wires will easily be pulled out from the connectors.
If you have troubles to crimp the terminals, Twippo crimping tool could help you tight the terminals on the wires very well.
- There is only one direction to insert terminals. (The way likes picture shows.)
The terminals lock the connector with a snap.
Once you insert terminals, they will not be pulled out again. If you put them to wrong direction, they will be pulled out easily.
How To Use the Crimper
Step 1
Prepare the terminals to be crimped.
Step 2
Place the terminal in the appropriate size slot of the crimping pliers.
Step 3
Press the crimping pliers firmly, or try multiple crimping attempts to ensure molding.
Step 4
The perfectly crimped terminals are shown here, robust and compact.

Read the directions and practice on scrap wires if you have some. It takes a few tries to see how the tool crimps the connectors. Once you got it down, it makes a nice, tight seal.

This is a great connector kit! It comes with everything you need but the wires themselves. The instructions included were clear. The connectors themselves seem pretty robust and both connected together and released smoothly. I’m glad I got this. It makes the installation of aftermarket electronics look much more professional than using individual spade connectors.

Easy to use, good connectors. Just go by provided directions. Make sure to double/triple check that wires are installed in correct places/alignment!

I temporarily used cheap butt connections to get a motorcycle project up and running but like EVERYTHING cheap...it was only good for a couple of starts and testing!This kit will make a complete and lasting worry free wiring solution.

Well they are not easy to assemble. After several didn’t work, throw em out and get another. Then second time I use the lights, they don’t work….bad connection. That tool is terrible
