My car was targeted by the Kia boys, luckily they couldn't steal the car but of course they did damage and break the whole locking mechanism. Quoted $600 by the dealer for the parts only (no even including installation). I figured I would pull the trigger on this before paying so much. Happy this replacement works. The installation was easy but I had the hardest time removing the top clamp which has two bolts with no patten but was finally able to get it out. After trying multiple things, I ended up using a power drill to force the bolt to spin. After that everything else is pretty putting everything back together.
