Given the size of the average breadboard and the density of the components thereon, there are way too many long wires relative to the shorter connectors. I think the "equal amount" approach doesn't respect certain realities in terms of what is needed the most.

Not bad. BUT the typical jumpers I use are a couple of sizes thicker than these. They seem very thin.They do the job but bend much more easily than I’m used to.

I was immediately annoyed to realize that the dupont connectors on one of the sets of alligator clips is female. What am I going to do with that? Waste a pair of jumpers, I guess.I also find that these are hard to insert. And I'm using (what I believe to be) genuine BB830 breadboards. I don't think I've ever encountered that problem before where it seems to be attributable to the wire.Also, the tweezers are a joke. I knew they were going to be bad, but I didn't expect them to just be two pieces of sheet metal spot-welded together. They line up well, I suppose, but it's very difficult to apply any sideways force with them; they just immediately bend.

These are not what I was expecting, quality wise. The wire is to soft for this use and bends under little pressure. Each wire is good for one use and then you will need to straighten them before reuse. Also, I only received one pair of jumper wire with the alligator clips, not two sets as shown. I could be a lot happier if the quality was up to the presentation on line.
