I have a 1948 Ford 8N tractor that I use to maintain my driveway. The driveway is a little over a mile long and really steep. I have been having a lot of trouble getting the tractor to start and with the winter rains and snow in the forecast I needed to solve the starting problem. I got this carburetor and installed it with no problems at all. As soon as I hit the starter the tractor fired right up with a bit of choke. I did find that I had to leave the choke on a bit to get it to idle right but that isn't a problem. I sometimes am a bit worried about using inexpensive copies of the OEM carburetors but this carb was a wise choice. It works as well as the original. The seller also included all the gaskets and fuel inlet fitting along with cleaning brushes.

This carburetor works as it should. It’s a lot cheaper than the solid steel Ford tractor carburetors at tractor supply. Came with everything I needed.
