I received my dogs in the mail today. They seem to be standard height when compared to others online. They are aluminum instead of plastic so that's a plus for durability. The grip padding on top of the dogs work good in keeping wood in place while sanding, etc. Overall, a good purchase for the cost.

Great product and exactly as pictured. They’re a bit pricey but they’re also solid milled aluminum and anodized, and should last a few hundred years. Great to use as a “soft†holder for anything. I draw up woodworking plans on iPad and will even use these as a stand for it.Only complaint about the design is if your bench dog holes are tight, these are incredibly difficult to get out. An improved design would feature two o-ring grooves and respective o-rings as “rod wipes†to allow tight fit while being removable.

Got package of 8 dogs. Red color looks great and is highly visible on the table surface. All eight dogs are perfectly machined...with calipers, zero deviation. Highly recommend!
