I bought this for my strength training class, because we didn't have enough barbells clamps/collars and these were more cost effective than the quick release 1" clamps.

Unfortunately, for the bad guys who might be out around my neighborhood, these 1 inch barbell clamps, do NOT fit on the bar that holds my weights! Otherwise, I could easily end up looking like the Incredible Hulk; keep the area around my home safer; based on what I have planned, "OH, WELL". THESE 1 INCH CLAMPS DO NOT FIT!!! My thinking 🤔 now is, I may need a smaller bar (Which, is not gonna happen!) to hold my weights when I work out; exercising ðŸ‹ðŸ½â€â™€ï¸ or I can use another type of clamp or clamps like these, here in a bigger size, we'll see?! That is the main reason for me giving them such a low rating. They actually deserve "NO STARS", because they are absolutely no use to me now that they've been delivered. I'm contemplating 🤔 right now, sending them back to Amazon and getting my money back! This review is for other potential buyers to beware. I won't even purchase these type of clamp from other merchants or vendors; this purchase was thumbs down👎🽠"AWFUL".

This thing states that it's for 1-in bar it actually is a little larger than 1 in. Because of this it does not stay on it slides right off especially if you have weights on it and go to certain angle. It is dangerous to use this on a 1-in weight bar. I do not recommend this for a 1-in bar. I should have read the reviews before purchasing it many people had the same complaint. So this part has only taught me to read the reviews carefully

I tested all of the clamps in the set with an array of poles whose diameters were measured with a digital caliper. None of the clamps could be expanded enough to slide onto poles that were exactly 2.54cm (1 inch) diameter. However they are able to slide on to the thinner one-off poles that only had 2.45cm diameter.

The grip wasn't strong enough on my 1 inch bar for me to be confident.
