As expected, easy to trim to fit. I take at least one bouquet of flowers to church every Sunday in season. These have been very helpful!

This is a great product that I use to keep my flowers looking arranged. The foam also soaks up water that results in less mess and a neat appearance. The quality of the product is great and its like the type you'd find at professional florist shops but for a lot less. I highly recommend!

Great QualityI was impressed with the quality of this floral foam that I've been using for fresh flowers. It's easy to soak and keeps flowers watered. Also easy to cut into whatever shape you need and the shipping was super fast.

It does not soak up properly and therefore doesn't carry water for absorption properly

I would not use this for fresh flowers.I’ve done floral for 15 years, & I’m capable of any floral design. I was making my friends casket spray for her funeral and I bought this foam in hopes it would be suitable.I soaked the foam for over an hour- fully submerged- & it still was dry in spots.I ended up going to Walmart & buying foam there.I could see this working for silk flowers, but I’d highly suggest avoiding this for fresh.

This foam is a lovely rich deep green color. The texture is softer than some I've used, but it works well. It almost has the texture of being wet, but it's not wet at all. It's very easy to push stems in, real or fake. Easy to cut or even press in to a shape. This foam is the the quality you get from a florist, and not the hard stiff styrofoam stuff sold at the craft stores. I didn't realize how different the wet and dry styles could be on a product like this. I never paid much attention until I felt the quality of this "wet" feeling block. It's really nice stuff.I'm far from an expert on fresh floral arranging, but I can see how this would really help fresh flower arrangements thrive. It's sturdy enough to hold them, but not so stiff you'll break stems. I can feel that it will absorb and hold water. However, I have to admit, I kind of think the yucky stiff "dry" stuff might be better for my artificial arrangements. This softer style does seem to break off around the edges and corners faster where the dry style has a "forever on this planet" styrofoam feel in a not so green kind of way. Neither wet or dry are particularly good for the planet.Either way, it's a quality and useful product.Value is competitive. $3 bucks a block seems to be the average price here on Amazon for this green foam.
