My photo shows the foam in the bottom of a latte size mug and it just fits the bottom. Having extensive experience with foam, I wanted to see how fast and well it absorbed so I filled the mug with water. In less than 30 seconds I cut the foam in half and it was thoroughly soaked which is great. I also wanted to know how well it held different types of stems and how easily they inserted so I did a quick small arrangement. Once again I was pleased. Even soft stems of Rex begonia leaves inserted easily. Didn’t add water and 5 days later the water is absorbed but the foam is still moist and arrangement shows age but still looks good. So this foam works as it should. My only hesitation would be to use it dry. Dry foam should have a firmer consistency and this will fall apart if worked to much.

They were a bit crushed, but they worked perfectly fine.

I used these foam blocks in flowerpots for my event, and they worked well. Unfortunately, I ordered the wrong size of pots, so these were too small when compared to the pots. I stuffed some plastic wrapping from the pants themselves between the blocks and the pots' inside edges to keep these from coming loose under the weight of the flowers, and they worked fine.A bit of shedding, but not too much. I can still reuse these for my next event, and plan to. I also plan to buy some foam that fits my pots, lol. They're great quality for the price, and I like that so many are included. I would buy again.
