I used these to re attach some new ribbon cable onto an older stereo preamp. Because trying to solder wires onto those tiny old connections wasn't working. These worked great for what i was trying to do. and the pitch was correct for what was listed and what i wanted.

The pin spacing is wrong. Listing states a 2.54mm (standard) spacing but these all measure 3.52mm. Useless for prototyping. Yes, I confirmed via a micrometer. And yes, I have two of them. Tested the 2pin, 3 pin and 4 pin. They were all the same. As for designing anything around them, the quality is not suitable for even a junk PCB.

Its a good quality product and solders nicely. One word of warning, the screw heads are tiny. Probably 1.4mm or less. So, make sure you have a very tiny screwdriver.This is probably obvious since the pin pitch is 2.54mm, but it bears saying. I was flummoxed when I first went to screw a wire into one of the terminals.

luckily I did not need it for 12 gauge. If your careful it will fit an 18.
