We have a hardwood floor in our kitchen and have put the table we eat all our meals at in the middle of it. To give the room some depth and to create a dining area in the middle of a room, we got a nice sized (5x7) carpet to put underneath it. We're very happy with the look, but at times, it's pretty easy to kick up a corner, and while no one has tripped yet, the threat looms heavy. Additionally, sometimes the carpet can bunch up, particularly on the rare occasions when we clean it with a vacuum (Ok, I'm self-deprecating, we vacuum at least weekly). So this easy to place, rather innocuous mesh was ordered to see if the problems solved. So far, so good. It was as easy as centering unfordling and putting the carpet back down. And the table. And the chairs. But relatively easy. It's very thin, so the carpet (fairly thin) gained no height whatsoever. And even though the underpiece is 4x7, the centering of the carpet seems to have kept the corners from coming up. It is worth noting that if your carpet actually is 4x7, the piece measure slightly smaller, and ought to do really well, since it does so well with a slightly larger carpet.

The TJWODO 8X10 FT Non-Slip Rug Pad fits perfectly underneath my 8x10 area rug. When I unpackaged the pad, it smelled really bad so I put it in the dryer with sheets to air fluff. After 20 minutes, the odor was reduced and I proceeded to install it. The pad is thin in thickness but dense in cross-sectional fibers for more contact area with floor and rug. This helps prevent slipping.

I was happy to give this product a try to put underneath our two kitchen mats, which weren't as non-slip as we had hoped.Because these were for the kitchen mats, I did have to cut them to size to fit under the two smaller mats (the two are something like 18" x 24" and 18" x 42"); the material was super easy to cut with scissors, and because of the pattern on them, it was also straightforward to cut a straight line through it without any supporting tools like a ruler. So far, the rug pad gripper seems to be working well from a functionality perspective as well, as the mats have noticeably gotten stickier to the floor (we have hardwood flooring in our kitchen), and the robot vacuum also now goes over the mat without moving them around everywhere.The other thing that I did want to note is that the smell on this product wasn't as bad as other similar products that I have tried, and it also dissipated pretty quickly (I still let it air out for 24 hours before using).Overall, I would recommend this product!

As part of my home renovations I'll be putting in a lot of plank vinyl flooring. and that means I'll have a number of area rugs sitting on them. Bare rugs on vinyl flooring tend to slip a bit- even when they are labeled "non-slip".These rubbery mesh Rug pads and do a fairly decent job of keeping everything in place as well as the carpet not bunching up, and they also had a little extra softness to these thinner low pile carpets. You can also cut them to size easily for specific carpets. Their cost is also fairly reasonable.

I was thrilled to get this, as my "runner rugs" in my hallways were very prone to movement and slipping. We had some anti-slip pads under them, but they were too small and didn't grip well. I was able to easily cut this into strips for my runners and a few door mats, and still have lots left over for replacement when needed. The quality is much better than my previous mats, and the "tackiness" keeps these in place much better. Great product!

Works well for securing a rug to my kid’s wooden floor. It is easy to position and can be cut to fit if needed. It did have a chemical smell to it when I first got it out of the packaging but I left it outside overnight and the smell went away entirely.

Love this thing. It measured perfectly and works great for holding any type of rug in place. Does have a slight chemical odor to it, but it went away quickly. Adds a little bit of cushion to the rug as well.

This thin pad will protect your floors and hold throw rugs in place to prevent slips and falls. I like that it can easily be cut to the correct size. I placed it on a wood floor and it definitely keeps the rug in place. I don’t like that it has a plastic/rubber smell. I am hoping that the smell will eventually go away.
