Oh so many color options. What fun! For $10 you can’t go wrong. I love a blue Christmas and this was a perfect way to top my tree with my color of preference. There are 24 color modes, but if I’m honest, blue was the color of choice in my house. However, whatever mode you’re feeling, this color changing star is a perfect and affordable option for any Christmas tree.The negatives:I’m not a huge fan of the wire, but I knew a wire would be there going in. The wire is also clear, which is nicer than if it were an ugly (very noticeable) black wire. If this star was offered with some sort of Bluetooth wireless capability, I’d be all over that. However, I can’t complain too much since this piece of color-changing plastic is only $10. However, this price point is reflected in the base of the star. It’s a plastic tube. The tube itself isn’t very large, so trying to stuff the top of my fake tree branches into the narrow tube wasn’t easy. I got it to work, but I have had other tree toppers with a wider base. I would prefer a larger base to accommodate the branches of my stiffer fake tree better, but I got this smaller base to work with my tree, so all is good. And once again…$10…can’t complain.I noticed on one of the color change modes, the star glitched sometimes. I only have the star on the blue setting, so this wasn’t a problem for me. This glitch may also be just with the star sent to me. Nonetheless, it felt worth mentioning.Technical Note:The star has an attached wire. That wire plugs into a USB brick. The wireless remote needs to point at the USB brick to make the star work. You can point the remote directly at the star all you want, but the star won’t change colors. The receiver is in the USB brick. So point down to wherever you have it plugged in to make the magic happen.Another note: The wire length is about 10ft. Keep that in mind if your tree is taller.

Had this on a Evergreen tree outside and had no problems. It's not rated for outdoors but I took the chance and it worked out well. It's very bright and expect to use it again next year.

Received quickly. Was very excited because the advertisement was exactly what I was looking for to top my tree for my toddler grandson when he visits.The star seems to be decent quality and lights up the various colors. It looks really nice.Unfortunately, the remote doesn't work.The price is very affordable.Overall, will just use without the use of the remote.

This star is an awesome tree topper. I love the different colors that it can change. I had it set up so that it was on a timer. It was nice to come home every evening from work and it was already on and shining.

This star looks great on top of our tree. I like the remote that can change the star from white to any color or one of the twinkling or changing modes. It requires a USB A phone charger brick but I have dozens of those. It comes with a holder that fits over a tree top branch. It is a little heavy and a single branch was too wobbly but there's room for more than one. I recommend this tree topper star.
