Lately I have been using my tart pans a lot. I have a 9 and 12 inch pan. Both are the standard non coated steel pans and they tend to get rust on the bottoms etc. if I do not dry them thoughly after use. Same if I run them through the dishwasher. They have served their purpose but they require lots of scrubbing due to sticking at times and this non-stick is going to be a nice upgrade. I have been baking quiches of late and if the bottom crust cracks even slightly some of of the filling will leach under the crust and make the bottom of the crust stick terribly to the pan. Making it hard to get out of the pan, let alone clean off later. I have to resort to scraping. So again this non-stick will be a great upgrade. The pan is nice and solid feeling, better than my old ones, and the price is hard to beat.
