I have used it three times already and it is easy-going to make flan. It's not an expensive pan, but after I received it, I found the exact pan on another up and coming huge Amazon-like site for $7 cheaper. So, that took some joy out of owning this overpriced pan. 😔

Just got into making flan. I like this one but I will probably need a deeper one because some recipes call for more room for ingredients.

This is a very well made, heave duty utensil. Made of SuperStainless, it is very easy to clean and beautiful to boot. The lid and handle are well made and solid. I have only made one flan at this point, which was a Cuban Coffee Flan that had a caramelized Sugar that was poured in to the unit in liquid form and rolled around the sides. When cool it is solid. I then poured in the flan and processed accordingly. The next day (after being in the fridge) I removed the top, covered with a plate and inverted. Flan came out wonderfully, completely coated with caramelized topping and good amount in liquid for to add to each bite. I wholly recommend this item,.
