Works great. Just remember that if you are using this on a small displacement engine, the cylinder may not have enough volume to give an accurate reading through the long hose. In that case, use the shortest possible adapter directly on the sparkplug hole.

This kit comes in a nice blow molded case that helps you keep track of all the pieces. The kit includes threaded adapters for 5 different sizes of spark plugs, and two rubber tapered press-fit for universal use. The gauge itself is made of metal, glass lens, has a rubber bumper, a pressure relief button, and a quick disconnect fitting. The quick disconnect fitting is not one that I have seen before. My old compression tester had a fitting that was commonly available at any hardware store. It is slimmer, and maybe that is the purpose. It does work well and is nicely machined and crimped onto the hose. This kit also comes with a tester for spark plug voltage. Much more convenient than trying to use a screwdriver and sparking to ground while pulling the starter rope! It inserts incline with the high voltage lead going to the plug, and has a neon bulb inside a water proof housing. The blow molded case does not have a specified location for the spark tester, but it fits in nicely.

Useful for a home shop (casual use). I did not verify the accuracy of the gauge. In my case I was looking for relative health of an engine and as long as all cylinders were within a reasonable variation I knew that there was no problematic cylinder.

El producto esta bueno pero no lo pude usar ya que la manguera que se conecta en la rosca donde van las bujias no enrosca bien porque la manguera no tiene la dureza necesaria para que enrosque, esta muy blanda y se dobla con facilidad si uno trata de forzarla para que de vuelta. Debido a eso me daba lecturas erroneas en varios pistones.
