I like this Nilight compression tester kit (digital model). I got it to check and maintain my small engine lawn equipment; chainsaws, log splitter, riding mower, etc. The kit comes with a good variety of fixtures for all types of engines, from automobile to small. Unless your vehicle is highly specialized, you can likely find a match.The quick release valve is a nice feature as well. The display is easy to read and fairly accurate. I find it to be a useful and functional kit to have in the toolbox. It is a good buy for the DIY mechanic.

Bought it Feb 2 2025. Found to be comparable to the different analog gages that 3 different friends had. I like the easy to read display. So far I would recommend this. I will edit my comments if necessary.

I used this compression tester and spark plug tester to diagnose the engine trouble in my sports car. The compression check helped me to diagnose a blown head gasket. I like that this set comes with several combustion chamber adapters and a handy storage case for the complete kit. The various adapters allow this set to be used with everything from lawn equipment to just about any motor vehicle.

This tester kit will not fit Ford GT-40 cast iron heads.... (they have more metal around the plug hole .)So it's useless to me !!!!!!!
