While they don’t fit every make and model. When they do fit they are very useful. I’ve used them a handful of times and was very easily able to diagnose using these relay switches. I think they’re a “better to have them and not need them vs need them and not have them†kinda tool. They come in handy most definitely.

Works great for diagnosing electrical issues with vehicles, also works great for draining a gas tank using the fuel pump.

This is a decent kit with quite a few common relay types. The products do what they need to do, and seem to have reasonable quality. The packaging is a bit dicey - be ready for them all to fall out in individually wrapped plastic baggies, and it would help if they specs were stenciled prominently on the sides, but all in all a solid purchase.

There have been a few times when I needed to troubleshoot a circuit and had to use a piece of wire and plug the wires into the 30 and 87 slots. While it works, just a janky setup. These are so simple to use, just plug them in and flip the switch when you're ready. I wouldn't consider them heavy duty, they're a bit frail in my opinion but should still work fine as long as you aren't dropping or smashing them. The writing on the rocker switch seems like it may eventually smear off so I may need to rectify that. For the price of almost $2.50 each, it's hard to go wrong, especially if you aren't abusing them and take some level of care when using them. I was able to use one to verify a wiper motor issue on a telehandler forklift.
