What the dealer charges for a GPS update should be criminal. I admit I was skeptical this chip would work, but it was easy to install and works perfectly, saving me hundreds of dollars. Be sure to get the proper one, and remember it is not "real time" updated, so my maps are now accurate to about a year ago. Of course, you lose your preset addresses and have to re-enter them, but that is a small price to pay for updated maps at a reasonable cost.

So apparently, the item either works in your particular car or it does not. Mine did not. I have a 2015 C300. And people, when you give a review of this item, you must state the year and model of your vehicle in order for your review to be helpful to others. Just saying..."It worked great for me!"... is not helpful to others.

This product is compatible with a 2016 MB CLA250. Recent address (new addresses) within the last year as today may not be in the software.

I was unsure about which version to purchase b/c I came across so many. I kept reviewing and re-reading and was able to match this one w/ my vehicle. I made this purchase b/c I knew I could return to Amazon, if needed. The instructions were simple but still I was nervous about the conpatability. I inserted the card, waited a sec and Voilaâ€¼ï¸ I haven't removed it since the initial insert and don't plan to. I only wonder and didn't find anything informing how long it will last. This card isn't necessary for the function of the vehicle, of course, but it feels like u need in order to access your vehicle's full potential. No glitches.

I use this when I’m going places I’m unfamiliar with. It’s not really up to date with street names and it sometimes tries to take me in out of the way routes so I usually use this along with Google maps on my phone. Overall it gets me where I want to go about 90% of the time.

I have a 2018 Mercedes CLA 250 with navigation but get this, if I actually want to use it I have to pay the dealership $$$ for the maps! WTF.. come on Mercedes really. Anyway as soon as I received my card I installed it into the Sd slot and literally in less than 3 minutes I had Navigation! Very pleased with my purchased and recommend this seller.

Card worked for a while. But then became unreadable after a few months. The return window was closed and unable to get a replacement. Had to order a new card which worked fine.

La tarjeta funcionó por un mes y después dejó de ser reconocida por el auto. Tal vez el auto está haciendo alguna validación original.
