Easy to install once you figure out how to remove the MMI control box and open it up (consult YouTube). Recommend cleaning all the buttons and parts while you've got it open. Once reassembled and connected, MMI interface worked like new. No reprogramming required. The old board got damaged somehow (probably from multiple liquid spills over the years) and it was doing random things, was unresponsive, etc. Hopefully this replacement board will last, but so far so good! Saved me hundreds of dollars versus a dealer doing the repair (mostly labor involved in removing the the control box, which does take a little time and patience).

Exact for on my Audi Q7. I used dielectric grease to seal the unit. Works like new.

My previous board shorted (took some diagnosing) and was causing a parasitic load on the battery. After narrowing it down to the 7.5A MMI fuse causing the battery drainage, I decided to try replacing the board, and hence purchased this one.Got it installed and it works as intended and the parasitic load issue is gone, all navigation and other MMI features work just fine. This purchase probably saved upwards of $5k. Thank you!

This saved me thousands of dollars!! I had zero functionality with navigation/radio controller. A local repair shop charged me $75 to install.
