I recently purchased this product, and I am extremely satisfied! It is exactly as described—high quality, durable, and incredibly useful for everyday needs. The functionality is spot on, making it both practical and convenient to use. What impressed me most is that, despite its excellent quality, it's very reasonably priced, making it a fantastic value. It's clear that a lot of thought went into the design and performance, and it has exceeded my expectations. If you're looking for a great product at an affordable price, I highly recommend this one!

The part works absolutely fantastic. Here is the way I installed it on my 12†retina MacBook. THIS IS TIME CONSUMING. DO NOT RUSH THE PROCESS AT ALL I SWEAR. YOU WILL BREAK YOUR LAPTOP IF YOU DON’T TAKE YOUR TIME.1. Take a bunch of aluminum foil and wrap the keyboard in it. You will be using a hairdryer and don’t want to melt the keyboard. Keep the LCD on showing the desktop or a white image during this; if you somehow mess it up the LCD will discolor or show you lines (and if you do; you’re basically out of luck. SLOW AND CAREFUL IS THE GOAL THE ENTIRE TIME)2. Take a 2liter soda bottle and cut a sheet roughly 2â€x1†out of it. This is your “adhesive cutting toolâ€. No tool from iFixIt or anywhere else is going to do the job as delicately.3. On LOW, start heating one edge (if it’s cracked on the edge, start at that edge)4. SLOWLY and CAREFULLY AS HECK, slide your plastic tool’s corner behind the glass bezel about 1/3-1/2 of the way down. If you can get the tool in between the display and adhesive, that’s better than getting it between the bezel and adhesive.5. Repeat the process of: - heating the section you have not cut yet for 20-30 sec on LOW - taking heat off - slowly moving the tool to the left or right (depending on the direction you’re going). We’re talking about 1mm/sec or less; this is going to take a while.6. Eventually after repeating this process, you will have made it to the other side and the top 1/3 or 1/2 of the adhesive backing will have been cut through.7. Repeat this process again, but this time go almost all the way down. You’re cutting the remainder of the adhesive on this pass. It should be about the same difficulty and time it takes.8. Once you’ve done this second pass, the adhesive strip should be free and you can remove the broken bezel.9. If needed, peel the remaining adhesive from the display.10. Carefully peel the protective film off the new bezel.11. Position the new bezel in place and stick it down once you’re CERTAIN it’s centered. You may see the left and right edges “catch†on the little rubber gasket; carefully “massage†them and they will fall into place and be flat like the original one.12. Apply even pressure along the entire length from left to right or vice versa to fully stick the adhesive down.13. Done! If you took your time it should have taken about 30-45 minutes to do; DO NOT RUSH IT. if you mess this up; a new LCD panel for this machine costs as much as a used MB Retina itself ($250-300) on eBay.Note: during your cutting, you may feel resistance near the middle. BE EXTRA CAREFUL HERE AND EVERYWHERE ELSE. THERE ARE LCD RIBBON CABLES YOU DONT WANT TO CUT OR DAMAGE.Hopefully this helps someone; i had to figure out a good method based on peoples descriptions and videos of doing the same thing on a MacBook Pro (not the 12†retina).

The screen looked ok upon arrival but once we paid a lot to have it installed you can see the light shining through the side of the screen.

The main thing here is to BE PATIENT. This is going to take time but it WILL be worth it.Quick shipping, literally exactly the same as the original piece.Just be very careful and take your time. I watched some videos on it first, read comments, and used a playing card (do NOT rush, when the beat tool does its just job, it’ll slide easily. Don’t force it!)Once the hard part of removing it is done, replacing is very simple but you have one shot to get it right because the glue WILL do its job.Saved me hundreds of dollars. Thank you !

Looks and works perfectly. No complaints. One thing I woudl do is add the close position sensor to the LCD it a bear to deal with.overall no issues and happy with the product and performance.

Works great, feels like the original bezel is there. It could possibly do with a bit more adhesive though.Do be careful when removing the old bezel, or else you may sever a connection and ruin your display panel like I did...

This screen replaced my original one about 6 months ago. It works good. Colors were a little different from the original on the first few days but I've gotten used to it.

I have Macbook Air 2022 Model with 13.6 inch screen. i was worried if this will work with my new macbook or not but it worked like magic. The Apple Store quoted 42000 rupees for full display change. I just put it over my broken bezel and it stick perfectly. now it is looking like i have bought a new macbook.
