Nice set for doing overhead valves on many 4 stroke dirt bikes. The skinny ,tapered ones I have been using (in some circumstances) would flex to easily trying to get in some areas. The wider gauge is not always useful or needed but the stiffness of the wider blade along with the handle attachment allows for better clearance fit and feel .

I tested them with my mitutoyo micrometer and they were within 0.02mm accuracy. Used them for my valve check on my dl650 and they worked great.

Setting valves with a standard feeler gauge is challenging at best. This set makes it much easier.

I measured all blades with an accurate analog micrometer. They all measured within .0001" tolerance, except for .014" which measured .0138" Four of the blades (.005, .006, .007, and .009) have printed markings instead of etched markings. This seem very strange and indicates a lack of quality control and consistency.The two red handles are not usable without modification. The threaded portion of the press in stud is too short, which means the press in portion is too long. Therefore it is not possible to clamp down on a thin blade unless you add a washer.This feeler gauge set would easily earn a 5 star rating if the handles were properly designed and manufactured, and if all the blades had etched markings as advertised. I took off 1 star for the handles which need modification to work, and 1 star for the 4 blades with printed markings instead of etched markings.

Ok gauge set I guess. If you use the thinner gauges you will need to add a washer to the handle because the hold down nut does not tighten enough and gauge never tightens. For a hobbyist they are ok.Anyone looking for a professional gauge set look elsewhere

The gauges are what they are but the handles suck. They don’t tighten fully on the blade and when you crank down on nut now they won’t come off.
