Symptoms of Transmission Solenoid Problem
If you’re experiencing transmission solenoid troubles, it will become evident in one of four ways:
- Delayed gear shifting
- You can’t downshift, and your engine continues to rev even when applying the brakes
- Your transmission gets stuck in neutral
- Shifting gears become rough and choppy

The filter and gasket worked fine but the solenoids didn't have the same mounting brackets to I couldn't use them. I had to reassemble the transmission filter and pan because I need to use the vehicle. Not sure how to get the correct solenoids. This kit said it fitted a 1997 T100 3.4L. Just an update. I emailed this company about two weeks ago to see if they would send me the correct solenoids and they didn't respond.

Filter fit perfectly but only one of the three the solenoids is fitted. Had to reused other two old one which was wasting my time for the job. Good that I did it myself

I would recommend another kit. I got this because I need the truck right away. Open the Amazon package and it looks like I got a used product. The box was forced open. All parts fit but look so cheap. I would recommend buying Toyota. Sometimes they come out cheaper than after market. I would maybe recommend another seller.

I own a1998 Toyota Tacoma 2.7 engine. I installed this product in about 6 hrs. Wanted to be very careful about the installation. When completed I drove about 20 miles and the ck engine light turned off. Great shifting. This product is great !!!!
